  • Spring is a very busy time for required State assessments.Below is a calendar of our planned assessment dates.You can help your student by making sure they are getting ample sleep leading up to testing and a filling breakfast that is high in protein.If you would like information on practice tests or study information, please contact your student’s teacher.

  • If your child is struggling with feelings of depression or thoughts of suicide, please let us know.We are here to help and can connect you to resources.
  • We are pleased to offer a full day training for new SMART Team members. WRMS Students and Families

  • Do you know a student who wants to go to college but may need some support to get there?  AVID applications are now available from Mr. Anderson or the counseling office.  They are due by June 4th.
  • Current 7th Graders:Are you interested in running for an ASB office?Packets are in the office and due June 6th.Elections will be June 11th.
  • 8th grade field trip is coming up in June.Good behavior and passing grades are required to go.

 

SHS Students and Families

  • Do you know a student who wants to go to college but may need some support to get there?  AVID applications are now available from Mr. Anderson or the counseling office.  They are due by June 4th.
  • Seniors – Graduation practice is Thursday, June 7th.Please make sure you get your books turned in and fees cleared in the morning.  All Seniors report to the gym by 10:00 with their Cap and Gown -- Pressed and looking good.Activities will go until about 2:00.Please plan accordingly.
  • Senior Banquet is Thursday, June 7th at 6:30.Please bring a dessert to share and a memory board of your student.
  • Summer School Applications are available in the counseling office. They must be completed and submitted to the counselors by June 14th. The cost of the class is $35. Class will run Monday through Thursday, June 25th-July 26th from 8 am-12 pm. There will be no class on the 4th of July.
  • National Honor Society Induction and dessert potluck, 6:00 p.m. on June 5th.
  • The Explorers Club is hosted by Deputy Lyle and meets every Wednesday after school in the Commons area. The club is open to all SHS and WRMS students in good academic standing.
  • Lunch Committee Meetings: 1st Wednesday = Youth and Government; 2nd Wednesday = Prom Committee; 3rd Wednesday = ASB
