  • Movie Night at the Pool has been rescheduled for Friday March 16th at 7:00pm! Come on down to the Stevenson Community Pool to watch “Moana” while you swim! Admission at regular cost. BYOF! (Bring your own floatie).
  • Are you looking for a spring sport, but don’t feel like playing baseball or running track? Stevenson Community Pool has the answer! Come join Swim Club today! Stevenson Swim Club meets 2 or 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4:15pm – 5:15pm, and functions as a swim team. We have practice all year round, and it’s never too late to join! There is no age limit, and the only requirements are one length of the pool backstroke and one length freestyle, we teach you the rest!   • The Stevenson Community Pool will be hosting a CPR class for KIDS! That’s right, if you want to take safety to the next level, have a child who might be interested in Lifeguarding, or want to learn about what it takes to save lives, come sign up today for our CPR class! There is NO age minimum, only physical strength requirements. Space is limited, so be sure to come by the pool today and sign up!When: Saturday, March 24th. From 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Where: The Stevenson Community Pool.Cost: $5.00
  • Notice:Our Non-Discrimination procedures for complaints has been more clearly outlined in the handbook that is online and a hard copy will be provided at their request.
  • Suicide Grief Support Group meets Sundays at the SES Library (2/11, 2/25, 3/11, 3/25, 4/8, 4/22, 5/6, 5/20) from 6:00-7:00.
  • If your child is struggling with feelings of depression or thoughts of suicide, please let us know.We are here to help and can connect you to resources.

 

WRMS Students and Families

  • All middle school kids- there is a meeting tomorrow at lunch for knowledge bowl participants and anyone interested in joining. Knowledge Bowl practice in the library Monday's, Tuesday's, and Thursday's from 2/26 thru 3/15
  • The Wind River Middle School ASB is selling See's Candies to raise money for the 8th grade field trip.  Orders will be taken now, through March 14th and will be available to pick up during Spring Conference Week!  To place an order please email Lydia Griffiths ([email protected]) for more information.  Thank you for supporting your Wind River Royals!

 

SHS Students and Families

  • The 2018 Florence Jessen Scholarship application is now available:  https://app.smarterselect.com/programs/46186-Community-Foundation-For-Southwest-Washington
  • Running Start Information Nights: March 7 (Wednesday), 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., Clark College Gym (O’Connell Sports Complex). This is an opportunity for current high school sophomores and juniors (and their parents) to learn more about Running Start, a program that allows eligible juniors and seniors to attend college classes and earn dual credit (both high school and college credit).
  • All students are welcome to play chess in rm. 11, during lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  On Tues and Thurs., lessons will be provided for those interested in learning how to play.
  • The Explorers Club is hosted by Deputy Lyle and meets every Wednesday after school in the Commons area. The club is open to all SHS and WRMS students in good academic standing.
  • Lunch Committee Meetings: 1st Wednesday = Youth and Government; 2nd Wednesday = Prom Committee; 3rd Wednesday = ASB
